CHEST FRONTAL AND LATERAL - 71020
CLINICAL INFORMATION: 414.01, 427.31.
PA and lateral views of the chest were obtained. Comparison is made to a
prior study dated January 11, 2008.
FINDINGS: The heart size is normal. There are mild increased
interstitial markings in the mid and lower lung zones bilaterally, likely
related to chronic lung disease and pulmonary fibrosis. Correlate
clinically. No airspace consolidation is seen. The lung fields appear
mildly hyperexpanded. A unipolar cardiac pacemaker is in place in stable
position since prior examination of January 11, 2008.
IMPRESSION: THERE ARE SOME CHRONIC INTERSTITIAL CHANGES IN THE LUNGS
BILATERALLY AND HYPEREXPANDED LUNGS SUGGESTING CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE
PULMONARY DISEASE. THERE IS NO ACUTE PULMONARY PROCESS.
