In April 2006, SpecsIntact implemented the Construction Specifications Institute's (CSI) MasterFormat™ 2004 Section Numbers and Titles. MasterFormat 2004™ can only be used with SpecsIntact v4.2.0.778 or newer. SpecsIntact will continue to support MasterFormat™ 1995 Sections for older Jobs and Masters.

Although SpecsIntact will not prohibit the use of MasterFormat™ 2004 and 1995 Sections in the same Job or Master, some SpecsIntact features will not work correctly when mixed.
SpecsIntact will support the renaming of Sections from MasterFormat™ 1995 to the 2004 Section numbers and provide a link to the latest "UFGS MasterFormat™ 1995 to MasterFormat™ 2004 conversion table."
