This command can be executed from the Editor Toolbar

This command searches the active file for the specified text and replaces it with different text. You may perform the search and replace either from the cursor location through the end of the file, or throughout the entire file from beginning to end.

• Search For Enter the text that you want to replace or choose from list box (saves previous search terms) 

• Replace With Enter the text that you want to replace it. 

• Options

  • Whole Word Searches for the text to be replaced only in whole word form. It will not find the text if it a part of another word. Keep in mind finding the plural of a word will be affected by this choice – entering "tile" will not find "tiles."

  • Ignore Case Finds all occurrences of the entry, disregarding case.

  • Confirm Changes  Gives you the chance to approve each change found.

• Search

  • From Cursor Searches from cursor location when dialog box is opened to the end of the file.

  • Entire File Searches the entire file from beginning to end.

• OK Begins the search/replace function and finds and replaces the first occurrence only.

• Change  AllFinds and replaces all occurrences.

• Cancel Closes the dialog box without initiating the search/replace.

To continue to find subsequent occurrences of the same specification element, use the F3 key or the button on the Editor's Toolbar.
