The SpecsIntact software is distributed on the SpecsIntact web site at http://si.ksc.nasa.gov/ as well as the Whole Building Design Guide (WBDG) Web Site at http://wbdg.org.

The WBDG was developed by the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) under a contract with NAVFAC and the Army Corps of Engineers. In addition to the software, NASA, Army Corps of Engineers, and NAVFAC Master specifications, their web site contains various government technical references, design and construction criteria, and government and industry technical standards, and construction specifications for other government agencies. SpecsIntact facilitates an interchange of construction specifications among government agencies, therefore eliminating the necessity for users' familiarity with multiple agency specifications systems.

SpecsIntact is a continually evolving software program, and requests from users coupled with the demands of technology drive the growth rate. Direction for the development comes from the SpecsIntact Interagency Configuration Control and Coordinating Board (SI-CCCB).

The most recent version of the software is always available without cost from the SpecsIntact web site's software download page. Check the Release Notes found in the web site's Knowledge Base to learn about enhancements and corrections since the previous version.
