When you are ready to make your permanent, you can choose to Execute Revisions – which will remove all <ADD> and <DEL> tags and execute the corresponding actions on the text contained between the tags -- adds the green underlined text between the <ADD></ADD> tags and removes the red text with overstrike between the <DEL></DEL> tags. All of the affected text will return to the appropriate colors.

You can execute Revisions from the following three places:

• For a Section that is open and active in the Editor, use the Editor’s menu Edit | Execute Revisions. This will only affect that Section.

• For individual selected Sections that are not open in the Editor, use the SI Explorer’s menu Sections | Execute Revisions. This will affect only those selected Sections without opening them.

• For and entire Job or local Master, use the SI Explorer’s menu File | Execute Revisions. This will affect all the Sections in the selected Job or local Master without opening any of the Sections.

Using any of the Execute Revisions commands makes these changes permanent and they cannot be reversed with the Editor’s Undo command.
