Original murals on canvas, rich cherry millwork and sophisticated black and polished chrome plumbing fixtures are just a few of the elements that make up a rich and inviting bath suite by Wisconsin designer Robert Lewcock, ASID. The room relies on the designer’s sensitivity toward use and function to create a look of distinction.

The handsome space features bath fixtures in black amid organic shades of dusty blue, rich green and burnt orange. This sophisticated combination uses elements of the great outdoors to create a well-seasoned sanctuary, divided into four distinct areas. The mirror above the elegant pedestal lavatory is surrounded by custom-designed, back-lit stained glass featuring animals and oak leaves. The shower wall features hand-glazed, putty-colored tiles depicting three-dimensional images of oak leaves and a forest of critters. The walls found in the toilet and whirlpool bath areas are literally a canvas for custom-painted murals by Milwaukee’s Timothy Haglund Studio.

All elements of the room are unified by custom cherry millwork used throughout in columns, wainscoted walls, ceiling beams, drawers and shelving -- all stained to match an angled wood-grain vinyl floor.

About the Designer
One of the nation’s leading interior and environmental specialists, Robert Lewcock’s award-winning work combines flair and function His focus on the use of space and the interests of clients have led to efficient, comfortable and stunning residential and contract interiors. Lewcock holds degrees in Fine Arts and Interior Design/Industry Design from the Layton School of Art & Design in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
