Commerce Business Daily: Engineering Services: Design of modifications to roads and entrances, parking lots, new pole barn, etc., at the "US Fish and Wildlife Services" facility at Lacombe Louisiana. Engineering Services are required to provide: Field investigation - accomplish field surveys that will include soils investigations, topographic surveys, existing facilities and utilities affecting the proposed work, as well as other investigations required to assure a complete design package for the work described above. Prepare a conceptual design plan and cost estimate. Following approval of above, complete 30%, 60% and 90% design packages with cost estimates for government review. Assist the government in obtaining and analyzing competitive bids. Provide construction services - attend monthly job meetings, provide shop drawing review, regular job visits, etc., as required. Qualifications of Disciplines (which are not all inclusive) required to perform work are as follows: Civil Engineer with experience in concrete and asphalt roadway design, and vehicle storage building design, in the area of work. Electrical Engineer with experience in lighting projects for low light roadways in wooded areas, as well as design of power and lighting systems and distribution, card operated gates, surveillance, etc. Significant evaluation factors are as follows: Engineering staff in fields listed above that will be available for work of this project. Specialized experience on technical competence. Capacity to complete work on time. Location in geographic area of work. 5. Volume of government work in last 12 months, with the object of effecting an equitable distribution of Architect and Engineering contracts among qualified firms.
