The Army Submittal Register is
only used for Jobs containing Army’s former
Submittal Descriptions (Masters released prior to CCB disc #54). In addition
to Submittal classification 'GA',
submittal classification 'G' will
now process correctly in Army Jobs and Masters using the previous Army
Submittal Descriptions.
For Army Jobs using the Unified Submittal Descriptions, the Army and Navy use the UFGS Submittal Register.
The Submittal Register is a report option that is available from the SI Explorer's File | Process & Print function. This option can be used to generate and print the Submittal Register.
The Submittal Register lists the materials, products or items for each Submittal in addition to the Section and paragraph number where the Submittal is located.
When the Submittal Register is generated for a Section, SpecsIntact searches for the Submittal Article within PART 1. Next it will search for all tagged Submittal Descriptions (SDs) listed below the Submittal Article and then the Submittal Items appearing below the Submittal Article and throughout the Section. This process requires that tagged Submittals in the Submittal Article be consistent with those in the Section's text.
For more information concerning Submittals, refer to the UFGS Submittal Procedure Section:
When the Army
Submittal Register in generated, a separate page is printed for
each Section within the project.
In the upper left-hand corner, the software will insert the Title and Location.
In the upper right hand corner, the Contract Number is inserted along with the Specification Number.
In the lower right hand corner contains the Page Number (in consecutive order per section). (Example: Page 1 of 10 Pages.)

In generating the Army Submittal Register, the system will automatically complete columns [d] through [r] as follows:
